I desier to thank god that I was Born in a Land of gospel liberly; that I have had the gospel preached to me in Noits puerity; to me About Nine months ago I atended the funerel of one of my aqentence, Which led me to consider the awful State, that I Should be in, Should I be cald to apere before my Judge: Which o emprest impresion lasted Sumtime; but, Like other young people, I putt fare of the Dreadful hour: in the Summer it pleased the Lord to Lay me on a Bed of Sicknes, and to consider the calls and Warnings I had Neglected: I Was Detrmind to ----- Seek the Lord: I thought if I perished I Would perish att his feet, Beging for mercy: I continued So Some time. I thought god Wase partid; others Were brought to the knowedg of the truth, which I thought had not been Seeking, So Long as I: These Words came to me you are as clay in the hands of the Father, Why do you Resist the holy Spirit: God was pleased to Set my Sins before me, Which apeared Like mountains over my heads: I knew not what to do: I Saw god to be just; I felt my hart so aposed to His Law, I could take no Satisfaction in Reeding, there Was Not a promise in the Bible for a Sinner, I thought I Would try to Reed; I took the Bible, I opened to Romans the tenth Chapter, I reed twoto the tenth Verce, my burthen of Sin Was Removed, I thought I could say the Will of the Lord be Done.
