Granville March 19 1789 Committee chosen by the east parish of Granville to confer with Mr Sylvester Sage on terms of Settlement among us as our Minister met at Capt Cooleys Dwelling house being the whole of Sd Comt Present Viz Viz Dean Samuel Coe Capt William Cooley Doct Leml Fitch Lieuts Samuel & Lemuel Bancroft Eber Spelman & James Coe & Timt Rose Dean Samuel Coe chosen Chairman James Coe Chosen Clerk Voted not to make any use of the Parsonage lot in our offer to Mr Sage Voted to give Mr Sylvester Sage seventy pounds salery yearly one half to be paid in grane & the other half in beef and pork and thirty cord of good fine wood Slead length for each year so long as he continues our Minister the Comt then proposed to Mr Sage as follows Viz Mr Sage Sr the Comt now met propose to � give you 70 one half to be in grane & the other half in beef and pork for your salary yearly so long as you continue our Minister and thirty cord of good fine= wood slead length each year Signed by order of the Comt by James Coe Clerk of Granville March 19 1789 Sd Comt Voted to dissolve this Meeting
