The early years of my life was pa?sed in thoughtle?s ne?s & unconcern - Present pleasure was all that oc cupied my mind.-If a serious thought of eternity intruded, it was soon lavished, & therefore produ ced no salutary effect. Vanity & sin were stamped upon each pa?sing day ___ For a time I resided in the family of a minister who used frequent ly to converse faithfully with me & I was often deeply affected. But the impre?sions were transient & soon obliterated.
