To the Chh of Christ In Granville The Information of Daniel Rose as one of the members of Sd Chh - Humbly showeth that He is Very much Dissatisfied With the conduct of Bethiah Wheler the wife of Samll Wheeler one of the members of Sd Chh In Divers Respects VZ. /1/In ^that the year 1757 In the month of May or June She Not Being Within at the time of Family Prayer at the usual time for Sd Duty her Husband going to Call or Invite her to join with him in the Duty of Prayer She Excused her Selfe and att the Next Usal time of for Sd Publick Duty he Repeated His Invitation and at Both Calls or Invitations She Exscused her Selfe from joining In Sd Duty With No other Reasons than these once that She was Indisposed In body and the other time that She was sleepy and I hearing of this Conduct I went to Discourse with her Concerning Sd Conduct and and Discoursing on Sd affair her her Husband he being Present She Charged Samll Wheeler her husband with falsehood and the way and manner of her Doing of it made me more Dissatisfied upon whith Dissatifaction I Proceeded to the first Rule Prescribed in the Gospel in such Cases but Recieved No Satisfaction but Rather Greater Dissatisfaction I then Proceeded to the Second Rule Prescribed In the Gospel took ^& Timothy Robinson & Ebenezer Seward members of Sd Chh Samll Coe each Brother In the Chh fellowship and Discoursed her on Sd affair and att this time She Did But Not Give me any satisfaction But her Conduct Did not that time make me more Dissatisfied than Before and Now as I think I am In Duty bound would offer this as a third Rule of the Gospel Desireing you to take Notice of the Same In a Gospel way and Proceed In a Gospel method that So I might Recieve Gospel satisfaction and the honour of the Chh be maintained Daniel Rose
